New Feature: Photo Ops!
February 26th, 2010 by Tia JonesIntroducing an awesome new feature: you can now show off you and your sisters’ style by posting pics directly to your Facebook photos! Find this feature under the Vacation tab when you complete the beach themed events with camera icons in the corner that look like this:
Once you complete the event, click on the ‘Take A Photo!’ button to create a snapshot of you and up to three of your sisters at the beach! Select ‘Send to My Photos’ and it will automatically tag the pic and upload it to your Facebook Photo Album. We will be adding this feature to more events in the future so keep an eye out for that! Have fun at the beach!

I tried it several times and it did not save it to my photos. What do I do?
it might have to do with your facebook settings..try checking out your privacy settings

Unfortunately people are posting these pictures on my facebook page disregarding the “do you have the right to post this picture” button they click”. Posting a photo on another persons page without their permission is a boundry issue in my opinion and I for one find it offensive. Please for my sisters. Don’t do that to me anymore.

Well, it should be a free option. Why I have to waste “Energy” for nothing? Photos to post to my FB wall, can’t level up with photoes. I’ve already completed all the events to Diamond. Won’t be of any use to me. Thanks anyway.

I have a question which is unrelated to the topic, but I didn’t know where to write this..so here it goes. A few weeks ago I purchased brownie points by using the Pay with your mobile phone feature…and it worked. Now I’m trying to do it again and it says that the service is not available in my country (Romania)…what is that all about? What happened to the service? I really can’t buy brownie points other than in this manner. Anyway, I can’t use most of the brownie points purchasing methods…like netflix…so I say instead of doing all these useless features (who needs those photos, by the way???), you should try to fix these things (ofcourse, if this is up to you) and also think globally about all the users and make some outfits and accesories that are free (well…payed with SL dollars, not brownie points) for a change. I understand you (the creators) must earn a living too and that’s a way for you to get payed. I don’t have anything against the brownie points system (personally, I think it’s fair – if you want special things you have to pay for them), but you could try to make some new things for the non-payers. They don’t have to be as pretty as the special BP items nor appear daily..they can be little things such as a pair of shoes or an accessory…or maybe an outfit once in a while. I noticed you did this, but it should happen more often This will surely will make people less nervous and will surely decrease the mean comments and threats (such as boycotting the game and similar stupid ideas).

this feature is stupid. why don’t you fix the vote for all button carol?? it never works on myspace and it only votes for like 10-20 people which is nothing when you have a house of 500+!!!
also those computer wallpapers are ugly and there is no way in hell i would put them on my computer or my cellphone. my 2 year old neice can draw better scribbly pictures than that!
I also have something to add that is not related, but I already sent an email to Carol or whoever but never got a response, I have a huge glitch in my sl facebook page that Is thre for several months now and that hasn’t been resolved because suppossely sl has a lot of inquiries that have to be taken care of one by one and have no time to answer them all, but it seems that sl has a lot of time in their hand to make new features almost everyday in sl. Playdom you are getting way too greedy and I am getting bored of this game and of the millions of glitches this game have. So please do something about it before you begin seeing a reduction in sl sisters. Signed: One of the many pissed off gamers.
I agree with most people here. One of the most useless features in the game. No one was asking for this. Why not give something people want. Like an easier way to get BPs. I know there’s the sign up for Netflix stuff. But it’s not even available in my country. And I sometimes buy the BPs with my phone. I can’t do that too often. I have needs! Do something about it!!! I’m starting to think that you guys are just a bunch of money-crazy airheads.
Well, Sapph…you said it. They are money-crazy, but hey..who can blame them? Everybody is nowadays. Otherwise, there would be free things all over the place..
i guess nothings ever free these days…so tough on us sl players who play almost every day…

I have to say, I do agree that this feature is pretty silly. Useless. I would get such crap from my RL friends and family for posting something like this…really.

DOWNTOWN COLLECTION! Photo snaps are useless
I play sorority life if I have nothing better to do. It’s not something that I think is super cool. If I want to post photos on facebook, they’ll be of me (not my avatar). If any of my sisters tag me in one of these pictures, I’ll be a little annoyed.

i have an idea of a new feature! how about u can ask to trade items with someone and they can accept trade or decline (but just with ur SL sisters) trading items like some unique (rare) item with another rare item! i really would like to trade with some of my sisters!

When I do the picture event the picture does not show up in my photos so it is totally useless to me.
so what happens when we reach Level 97 and have completed ALL of the events on Tagged SL?
I have used the picture event and not been able to see my pictures in my face book album. I tried adjusting my settings but to no avail.
Can anyone help with this issue? I believe it would be fun to see my sorors dressed but I have not gotten it to work yet.
It is apparent that either something is wrong with the application or instructions need to be given so we can use it properly.
So whats the point in having alot of money if we cant buy good items? and are you guys gonna bring back old hair sytles like the “HipHop” hair do
why is it fb gets all this cool new features but we at myspace get none it like the myspace are bein shortchain it takes so loong to get thourgh at level that it makes u want to cancel ur account. i play that revoling wit the 2 brownie points it will land on another item but give me the same items over and over why is that.an when send stuff to carol it’s like its not heard. like i said why play at all.
